About the course
Our superb 18 hole course was designed by Sir Henry Cotton (winner of the Open Golf Championship in 1934) and was opened in 1972. With spectacular tree lined fairways, short walks between greens and tees, and relatively flat, the course is a good test for any golfer. Beware of the bunkers and the tricky greens, try to miss the trees and don’t sink a ball in the reservoir. The toughest hole on the course is hole 10 – you’ll need a long and accurate drive to master this one. While you may be in for a birdie on the shortest hole on the course (hole 3) choosing the right club could be a challenge.
